SCCC is a tourism and cycling event designed to create a unique connection between adventure, wildlife, coastal tourism, conservation, health, and community development.
The event offers cyclists and adventure enthusiasts an opportunity to experience the natural beauty of Tanzania through an exciting cycling route around Saadani National Park and the surrounding coastal landscapes, where wildlife, nature, and the Indian Ocean meet.
SCCC is more than a cycling challenge; it is a platform for promoting domestic and international tourism, healthy lifestyles, environmental conservation, and meaningful community participation.

Arrive at Saadani, register at the event village, and settle into your camp. Evening opening ceremony with route briefing, cultural performances, and a coastal welcome dinner under the stars.
Flag-off at sunrise. Ride through the savanna, inland forest, and along the Indian Ocean coastline — spotting wildlife as you go. Rest stops, medical support, and hydration points every 20km.
A relaxed community ride to a conservation site, beach clean-up, tree planting for local communities, then the podium ceremony, awards, and closing celebrations.

The main challenge day is a loop of roughly 120km split into sections. There are also shorter 40km and 60km options for families, beginners, and e-bikes.
Yes. SCCC offers multiple route distances and pace groups. If you can ride 30–40km comfortably, you can complete the short route. Full training plan is shared after registration.
You can bring your own bike or rent one at the event village. Bike mechanics are on site before and during the event.
The event village offers secure camping (included), or you can upgrade to VIP glamping or nearby lodges inside Saadani National Park.
